The
design was for the stepmother of the groom and she had very
specific wants for her dress. Due to skin cancer she needed
to be carefully covered since it was an outdoor wedding.
She wanted a high neckline; long sleeves with a long cuff;
a waistband; the skirt a bit of a flare for dancing and
knee length since she would be wearing knee length boots.
She was going for kind of a uniform bodice with buttons
across the neck and shoulder down to the waistband.
I sent her two sketches. Sketch #2 "hit the nail on
the head". With a few additional changes, I sent her
the final sketch. |
