Design a Dress

"WOW" was the comments this young lady wanted for her prom. I started with very basic sketches suggesting her seamstress make a top separate and showed her a long skirt with a slit then she could change to pants later.
She wasn't sure she could afford several looks so we proceeded with one gown.

She wanted a slight train, low back, and gathering from the waist down so I did a basic sketch. She also wanted lace.

The final design had a lace top with a solid fabric for the skirt which had a slit in the front and back. A seperate lace skirt could be made for the grand entrance and later taken off to show off her legs through the slits.
